How long does it take to set-up a new account?
New accounts are set-up within four business hours of submission.

2. Do you host International domain names?
Yes. We are pleased to have customers around the world. We can host all non-US domain name extensions.

Can I access my domain name with and without the www?
Yes, you will be able to access your domain address with or without the "www". For example, you can access your domain name by going to "www.yourdomain.com" or "yourdomain.com".

Do you maintain backups of my data?
Webexa provides automated daily, weekly and monthly full backups on all servers.

Can I password protect directories?
Yes, you can password protect specific directories within your website. You can assign unique userIDs and passwords to control access to various web pages.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my account at a later date?
Yes, certainly. The charge for upgrading is merely the difference in hosting fees between the old account type and the new account type. You are issued a pro-rated refund for unused time under the old account type, and billed for a new period at the new rate. There is no fee for upgrading or downgrading.

Do you allow adult sites?

YES but these are hosted on a seperate server so not to disrupt our customers.

Do you have support for Java Servlets on your servers?
No. Java Servlets are not available on the shared hosting environment.

Can I host XML and WAP pages?
Hosting XML or WAP pages is simply a matter of creating the proper custom MIME types; no other special support is required on the server. WAP and XML MIME types are configured on our servers and can be used with any account.

Do you support Cold Fusion or Active Server Pages?
No. Webexa provides services exclusively utilizing the Red Hat operating system. There are implementations of both ColdFusion and ASP for Unix, but we are continuing to evaluate them for stability and suitability. Please note that we do support powerful alternatives such as PHP4, Perl5, and MySQL.

How long does it take to transfer a domain?
Once the transfer has been submitted, it can take anywhere from 24-72 hours. Usually this is much closer to 24 hours. It usually depends on the time that your request is received at your registrar (most only process requests once a day).

Your domain is set up immediately on our servers. It is the timing at the registrar that will determine how long it takes for the transfer to be "visible".

What kind of servers are you using?
Currently, all of our Web servers are Dual 1000Mhz PIII servers running RedHat 7.2, at least 1 Gig of SDRAM, SCSI Hard Drives, and Dual 100MB Ethernet Cards.

What is your spam and bulk e-mail policy?
We have strict policies against spamming and bulk e-mail. Users who spam via e-mail, newsgroups, etc. are not allowed on our Web servers. If we receive complaints of spamming and bulk e-mail, we will remove you from our network.

Do you offer a money back guarantee?
At Webexa, we offer a full 30-day, 100% money-back guarantee on our virtual hosting services. We invite you to sign-up and then take a look around. What kind of Technical Support do you provide?

What do you consider excessive amounts of resources?
Please understand that our #1 priority is to keep our servers in perfect operating condition so they will remain up and running at all times. If any account jeopardizes our server or network, we will address this problem as soon as possible. A website is considered to be using "excessive amounts of resources" when the website uses 10% or more of our system resources for 60 seconds or longer. There are numerous problems that could cause such problems including: CGI scripts, FTP, HTTP, etc. We reserve the right to suspend any hosting account that we feel is jeopardizing our network.

Will you place any ads on my site?
Not at all. Webexa does not place any advertisement on your site whatsoever. No banners, no annoying pop-ups, nothing.

How does your billing work?
Upon activation of service, your first month's premium will be prorated base on date of service. Prorate is calculated from the date of activation through the end of the current month plus your selected billing cycle.

We will send invoices out on the 1st of each contract month via e-mail. If payment is not received within 10 days after the invoice date, your account will be suspended and a follow-up reminder will be sent out. You will then have an additional 5 days to make payment. If we have not received payment within those 5 days and you have not contacted us to make other arrangements, your account will be terminated. Once your account is terminated, all data is lost and a new account would need to be established.
